“Researchers attending a pharmaceutical convention in San Diego announce that the future of male contraception may come in a pill form.”

For some reason the “embed” link doesn’t work…it does something dumb which is to have you copy then past the link to see the vid.
Here’s the link to the vid:

By Mike DeVonish at 6:50 am on November 17, 2007 | No comments

Period be gone! A Birth Control Pill That Stops Your Period

By Mike DeVonish at 2:44 pm on November 15, 2007 | No comments

This could be welcome news to some or damn scary to others.

Freed from that pesky period

“Now that the birth control pill Lybrel has been approved, women can view their monthly period as another lifestyle choice. Several contraceptives already tinker with menstruation; Lybrel, which got the nod last week and will arrive in pharmacies in July, would stop them altogether.”

The Male Birth Control Pill!–Birth Control for Men News Video

By Mike DeVonish at 11:51 am on November 7, 2007 | No comments

The pill for men! Well, not right away. It’s 2007 not 1967…I would think we’ve advanced far enough that creating contraceptives for men wouldn’t take so long…at least it’s on the way. BTW this story is a bout a year old but I STILL don’t see where you can actually buy them. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.
